About
The increasingly successful and popular Derbyshire chorus, Tideswell Male Voice Choir, under their Director of Music, Dennis Kay, visit the Opera House for the seventh year running, this year with the hugely popular Military Wives Choir as their special guests.
The Military Wives Choir was formed at two army bases in Devon – the Royal Marines Base, Chivenor and the Royal Citadel, Plymouth, as part of Gareth Malone’s BBC TV series, The Choir, and achieved the coveted 2011 Christmas No.1 spot with their hit, Wherever You Are, written by royal wedding composer Paul Mealor. Their new album, In My Dreams, released on 5 March, is the latest step in the remarkable journey which this choir has made since its inception.
