About

Four Four Time 2010 Returning to Buxton following his sell-out appearance during Four Four Time 08, Marc Almond continues to prove himself an astonishing live performer and interpreter of classic songs. From the electro-duo Soft Cell, with a string of international hits (Bedsitter, Torch, Memorabilia, Say Hello Wave Goodbye and, biggest of all, Tainted Love), to his solo career (including memorable versions cover versions of Jacky and The Days of Pearly Spencer, and his No 1 hit duet with the late Gene Pitney, Someone’s Gotten Hold of my Heart), Marc’s flamboyant torch-song style continues to electrify. Most recently, Marc has been bringing the songs of exiled Russian troubadour Vadim Kozin to Western audiences with his album Orpheus in Exile. Don’t miss this chance to experience the dramatic vocals of a man who truly comes alive on stage. To find out more about Marc Almond, click here.
