I'm a musucista, organist and choirmaster, and do not particularly like this kind of songs but I recognize that the plethora of nineteenth-century compositions of the same kind, full of "Hail Marys" sugary rhetoric and ad nauseum, Franck's "Panis Angelicus", as well as the "Ave Maria" by c. Saint Saens, stands for simplicity and elegance. Great wedding ...
