Album für die Jugend (Album for the Young), Op. 68, was composed by Robert Schumann in 1848 for his three daughters. The album consists of a collection of 43 short works. Unlike the Kinderszenen, they are suitable to be played by children or beginners. The second part, starting at Nr. 19 (Kleine Romanze), is marked Für Erwachsene (For adults) and contains more demanding pieces.

An orchestral version of this piece was heard in the classic film The Wizard of Oz in several scenes – when Dorothy is first seen running down a road, when she runs into her barnyard, and again when Toto jumps out of Miss Gulch's basket and runs back to Dorothy.
